Storyline:
Major Crimes is an American television police procedural series starring Mary McDonnell. It is a successor spin-off of The Closer and premiered on TNT August 13, 2012, following that show's finale.
On July 18, 2014, TNT renewed Major Crimes for an 18-episode fourth season, which premiered on June 8, 2015. On August 20, 2015, TNT ordered five additional episodes of season four, bringing the total to 23. On December 15, 2015, TNT renewed the series for a 13-episode fifth season. On March 29, 2016, TNT announced Major Crimes will premiere the 13-episode Season 5 on Monday, June 13, at 10pm following Rizzoli & Isles.
